It looks as if Hurricane "Irene" will miss the Lowcountry of Hilton Head yet again. As with any Hurricane, islanders take great precautions to hurricanes, however we are very happy to have had very little Hurricane activity here for many years now. Fortunately Hilton Head Island is tucked into what we describe as the "U" of the east coast coastline which ultimately keeps these major storms from making landfall in our area!
